Homework Checking Implementation
Homework, as a part of the teaching routine, can not only enable students to consolidate the knowledge that they learned, but also can enhance their capacity in analyzing& solving problems so that they would form a favorable studying habit. Therefore, by correcting homework, teachers are able to figure out how students absorbed knowledge and find out the existing issues without delay. In addition, by means of examining teaching efficiency, we are supposed to perfect our teaching level in time based on the existing difficulties in teaching, the ultimate aim of which is to boost teaching quality. As a result, in accordance with the train of thought, on 12th May, the Junior High Department of the east campus carried out a mid-term homework checking campaign.
The priorities of this inspection revolve around the subjects of Chinese, maths& English of Grade 7&8 in addition to all disciplines in Senior High School Entrance Examination of Grade 9. The principle of the checkup is that group leaders from Lesson Preparation Group of each grade proceeded cross-inspection, followed by random inspection from division leaders.
Initially, Deputy Director Hu Sen with Junior High Section held a job arrangement meeting in terms of homework checking. Also, he announced the blue print of homework inspection, which made clear the specific requirements.
Furthermore, once the checkup started, Principal Assistant& Junior High Director Ling Qian supervised the event on spot to put forward further requests& instructions.
More noticeably, teachers involved were able to earnestly perform their duties, not leaving out any details in order that they could conduct objective evaluation, fill in the homework checkup form as well as write down the correction status, the existing issues& proposals.
All in all, in principle, our homework arrangement is on a moderate, scientific& standard basis. Other than that, graveness, standardization& high efficiency are our pursuits in homework checking. We firmly believe that with concentrated attention, we would explicitly accomplish the task to refine on the teaching job in each department.
